Chimney & Fireplace
🔥 Chimney Camera Inspection – Advanced Internal Video Evaluation
Most chimney inspections rely on mirrors and flashlights. We use a professional Chim-Scan® J3D rotating chimney camera system to provide a far more detailed internal evaluation of the flue liner.
Our high-resolution camera records video while rotating and traveling up and down the chimney. It captures:
• 🔄 360° rotating interior views
• ⬆️ Straight up/down perspectives
• ↔️ 90° side views of liner walls
• 🎥 Continuous recorded video documentation
This allows us to inspect the entire accessible interior surface of masonry and prefabricated flue systems — not just limited sections.
What We Look For
• Cracked or missing flue tiles
• Deteriorated mortar joints
• Creosote buildup or blockages
• Damaged or improperly installed liners
• Moisture intrusion or internal staining
• Offset and drafting concerns
Chimney damage often develops inside the flue where it cannot be seen from the roof or firebox. Internal video inspection helps identify hidden defects before they become safety hazards.
Why Choose a Chimney Camera Inspection?
✔️ Clear visual documentation
✔️ More thorough than a basic visual check
✔️ Valuable for home buyers and sellers
✔️ Helpful for ongoing maintenance decisions
Performed by a Chim-Scan factory-trained technician, this advanced chimney inspection service provides detailed insight into one of the home’s most critical fire-safety systems.

Infrared Inspection
(Inside the Structure)
Hidden problems in a home can stay unnoticed for years—moisture behind walls, missing insulation, and hidden hot spots often lead to expensive repairs if left unchecked. Infrared inspections use thermal imaging to reveal these issues before they become major problems.
With professional-grade infrared cameras, we perform a detailed scan of key areas in your home. Our process includes:
🌡️ Thermal imaging of walls, ceilings, and floors to detect heat loss, air leaks, and insulation gaps
💧 Identification of hidden moisture that could lead to mold growth or structural damage
⚡ Detection of temperature anomalies that may signal overheating wires or failing components
📋 Detailed thermal report with images and easy-to-understand explanations
This advanced inspection helps you uncover problems early, improve energy efficiency, and protect your home from costly surprises.

Radon Gas Testing
Radon is a naturally occurring, odorless, and invisible radioactive gas that can seep into homes from the soil. It is the second leading cause of lung cancer deaths in the United States, according to the Surgeon General. Alarming studies show that 1 in 15 homes may have dangerously elevated radon levels.
Both the EPA and Surgeon General strongly recommend testing every home. As IAC2-certified radon testing professionals, we use precise, continuous monitoring equipment to measure radon levels accurately and provide you with reliable results.
Our machines even notify me if they are moved ensuring the test is accurate and complete for that location.
Protect your family from this hidden health risk by ensuring you know your home’s radon levels—and taking action if needed.
